Learners Engaged is now a member of the Association for Rural and Small Libraries (ARSL). Joining ARSL reflects our alignment with ARSL's mission to build strong communities through advocacy, professional development and working together to elevate the impact of libraries in the communities they serve.
Having worked with publishers and distributors, we have seen the inbalance of economics in library models. Frankly, it has been a point of frustration. Business models to support libraries must be built for longevity and sustainability for both the publisher and the libraries. If sustainability breaks, access stops and comunities lose.
Through the publishers we work with, we are committed to ensuring premium eResources are attainable regardless of library size. Our vision and strategy is to Engage. Innovate. Grow.
Later this month, we will be launching EIG Connect - Engage. Innovate. Grow. This program is designed specifically for libraries serving communities under 6,000 population, ensuring they can equitably access premium eResources.
Our vision is to encourage and support ambitious libraries of all sizes who want to meaningfully engage, innovate and grow their communities. After all, strong libraries change outcomes for families, newcomers, students, workers and entire communities.
We are excited to help libraries elevate their communities.
